Obituary of Pauline L. Parker

Pauline L Parker, 90, of Westerleigh Staten Island, passed away on January 6th. Pauline was born to Edward and Florence Breuer in Bay Ridge Brooklyn on September 1st, 1932. She attended Fontbonne Hall Academy and Graduated from Fort Hamilton High School. Pauline was married to Joseph Parker on September 7th, 1965. They were married for 57 years. Pauline worked for Lincoln Savings Bank and Citibank as a Bank Teller. She also worked at Kmart and Toys R Us before settling home as a full-time housewife. She enjoyed traveling to various Caribbean Islands, trips to Las Vegas, many cruises, and frequent visits to Atlantic City. She enjoyed spending the winter seasons in her home in Naples Florida of 23 years. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, watching Wheel of Fortune, shopping, and spending time with family, and loved ones. Pauline was best known for her quick-witted sense of humor, fierce determination, and generous spirit. Pauline is survived by her loving Husband Joseph Parker, Children Carolann Denora, Judith Lanzett (David), Catherine Santana, Michelle Pagan (Richard), 12 Grandchildren. 11 Great Grandchildren, Sister Lurana Karsh, Brother William Breuer, Sister-in-Law Joan Breuer, Sister-in-Law Nancy Parker, numerous nieces and nephews, her beloved dog Brandie and other family and friends. Pauline is preceded in death by her Brother Theodore Breuer, Son James Belmer, Granddaughter JodieLynn Obermayer, & Brother-in-Law Robert Parker. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM at Church of the Holy Family, 366 Watchogue Rd, Staten Island NY 10314. Father Angelo Micciula of Church of the Holy Family will be officiating. Visitation will be held on Wednesday January 11th, 6-9 P.M, Thursday January 12th, 2-5 P.M, 7-9 P.M at Matthew Funeral Home 2508 Victory Boulevard Staten Island NY, 10314. Burial will follow the funeral at Resurrection Cemetery 361 Sharrott Avenue Staten Island NY, 10309 at 12:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Tunnel to Towers Foundation or St. Jude Foundation in memory of Pauline. Donation notifications can be emailed to: MPGEMINI@AOL.COM
