Obituary of Sadie Annibale

Sadie Annibale passed away peacefully on January 16, 2023, just shy of her 96th birthday. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Annibale Sr. She was a devoted mother to her two sons, Ralph Annibale Jr, his husband Rick Simone and Carl Annibale and his wife Cristiane Annibale. At age 88, she was blessed with a grandson, Marcelo. Sadie was the loving sister of Jerome Zito and the late Catherine Schioppo. A Staten Island native, she was born on March 22, 1927 to Salvatore and Domenica Zito. After high school, she began a career at Maidenform as Head Seamstress and Supervisor. She met and married Ralph Annibale Sr., spending more than 71 years together. She left work to begin a family. Sadie had many passions, including family travel, specialty holiday baking and continuing her love of sewing of which she excelled. Sadie was a true beacon of warmth, kindness, generosity and acceptance. In Lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the American Cancer Society (Susan G Komen for Breast Cancer) or the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America in Sadie's honor. Throughout her life she maintained a commitment to the ideals of her Catholic faith through peace, comfort, grace and refuge. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. on Friday, 1/20/2023 family and friends may visit from 3:00 to 8:00 PM.
