Obituary of Frank C. Rutigliano

Mr. Frank C. Rutigliano, 89, of Bulls Head, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2023. He was the beloved husband of the late Margeret; beloved father of Victoria A. Rutigliano; cherished grandfather of Arianna Rutigliano; dear brother of Nicholas Rugigliano, and the late Vivian LaCamera, and the late Jerome Rutigliano. He was also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Frank was born and raised in Brooklyn. After graduating from High School, he worked on Wall Street as a Mail Runner at age 16, and then had a brief stay in the Army. He was proficient in shooting archery. He worked for 40 years as a Trader, with TD Waterhouse, retiring in the year 2000. He enjoyed Karate and took first place at a competition at Madison Squsre Garden. Frank also started the Staten Island Archer's Club in the late 1960's and taught people his craft at archery. Mr. Rutigliano also worked as a conservation officer, and taught people the correct way in the hunting arena. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, departing at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pity R.C. Church at 10:30 am. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
