Obituary of Michael Joseph Giordano

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Giordano, a beloved husband to his wife Patricia Giordano and his only son Daniel. Michael lived a life where being surrounded by family and taking care of his family were his main priorities because that's how he was raised. His questioning and inquisitive spirit allowed him to become the great man he was. He was a man of integrity, kindness, and unwavering determination. Born on the sixth of October, 1954, Michael grew up in Gravesend Brooklyn NY on West St. where he learned the importance of hard work, family and being a kid. Michael attended Abraham Lincoln highschool and later went on to study telecommunications at NYU , received his bachelors in Finance from Baruch and eventually got his real estate license. His work experience included being a sales rep/supervisor for the New York telephone company, Product Manager for Apex information systems, Real Estate agent on Staten Island, Loan Officer for R.C.F Capital Corp and Account Manager ar TitleServ Inc.. Throughout his life, Michael was dedicated to his family and friends, always putting their needs above his own. He enjoyed working on the car, being outdoors and learning everything and anything he could from the History channel. He was as selfless as they come. He was a loving husband by being there for his wife through thick and thin and a caring father who guided his son with school down a solid career path. He cherished the time he spent with his loved ones on the holidays or even running up the block for groceries. Aside from loving his family to no end, he loved the dogs in his life just the same. His dogs Sandy and Snowball brought out the best in him over the course of their lives. Although Michael had a serious heart condition, when it came down to it he had a heart bigger than the rest of us. Growing up Michael's family was small but marrying his wife Patricia gave him the experience of having one big happy family. Michael's passing is a loss that will be deeply felt by all who knew him. He will be remembered as a true inspiration, a happy soul, and a shining example of what it means to live a life of purpose. Rest in peace, Michael, your legacy will live on in the hearts of those you loved and served so selflessly.
