Obituary of Michael J. Della Croce

Michael DellaCroce, "Cricket", 66, passed away peacefully Friday February 3, 2023. He was a beloved husband of Eva for 40 years. They were a couple since 1975, Childhood sweethearts. He was the dear brother to Kathi Croce and her husband Jerry; fond brother-in-law to John and Karen Dreher and Charles and Lisa DeMatteo; cherished uncle to John and Lisa Dreher, Harold and Dawn Relucio, Gabriella DeMatteo, Craig and Alexis Gambardella and Hannah Croce Reisman; devoted great uncle to Andrew, Ella, Anthony, Samantha (His Kooquie), Hailey and Jordyn. He spent many years in Bay Ridge as a bartender, bar manager and his biggest accomplishment was Bar Owner of Full Moon Saloon. He was known to all as "Cricket.” Michael was employed by Madison Square Garden for the past 12 years. He will be missed more than words can say. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Saturday, February 11, 2023, departing at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann’s R.C. Church at 11:00 am. Private cremation will follow Mass. Family and friends may visit on Thursday from 5:30 to 8:30 pm and Friday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
