Obituary of Concetta LoBue

Concetta LoBue was born on June 1, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY and passed away on February 5, 2023 in Staten Island, NY. She was 92 years old. Concetta is survived by her son, Edward and his wife, Maureen, her brothers Christopher (Joan) and Salvatore (Julie), her grandchildren, Eddie (Graceanne), Jack (Kathryn), Vincent (Tia), and Robert and great grandchildren, Benjamin, Sabrina, Vincent and Abigail. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack and her son Vincent (Barbara). She graduated from Lafayette High School. She was active in the Democratic Club and ran for Council Committee Woman. She was also involved with cub scouts with her husband and her two sons. She was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star and her Senior Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her great grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting and traveling. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. on Thursday, 2/9/2023, departing at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pity R.C. Church at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, 2/7/2023, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM and Wednesday, 2/8/2023, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
