Obituary of Daniel A. Purtill

Daniel Adam Purtil, 48, of Staten Island passed away February 11, 2023. He is survived by his beloved son and daughter John Michael Purtil and Juliana Rose Purtil. He was predeceased by his wife Janice Bevilacqua and his brother John Patrick Purtil. He was the cherished son of Margaret Jane McMahon and John Gerard Purtil. Daniel spent his earlier years growing up in Brooklyn NY where he graduated from The Local 30s as an Operating Engineer. He enjoyed boating and was the best father he could possibly be to his two children, who he sacrificed everything for. He worked as a Custodial Engineer for the Board of Education for many years. In Lieu of Flowers donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
