Nanny Ginny was a loving, strong woman that was an inspiration to our entire family by demonstrating a sincere care, concern, and dedication to everything she did. She had a genuine way of making you feel truly loved with every kind word and hug. We are so grateful to Poppy Al and Nanny Ginny for adopting us into their loving family and we cherish the memories of all of the fun times we’ve shared over the years. To my Ernestine, The day we met was October 29, 1970 at 8:30 am. It was love at first sight on my part and I have loved you ever since. It has certainly been a journey but you have been my best friend and soulmate throughout the years, having the biggest heart in the world. We are so sad to hear that Virginia has passed away. She was a beautiful person inside and out, and best neighbor anyone could ask for. She was so inspirational to us, out walking, keeping busy, always with a positive outlook. We will miss her beautiful smile and kind words, memories of which will live in our hearts forever.
