Obituary of Gabriele Sorci

Gabriele Sorci, 83, of Staten Island passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2023, exactly two weeks before his 84th birthday. He was the beloved son of the late Francesco Sorci, and Paola Giordano. He is survived by his wife, Giovanna Sorci. He was the beloved father of Paola Mellone, Aurelio Sorci, Maria Catalano, and Francesco Sorci. He was a beloved grandfather and great grandfather to 16 amazing grandchildren. He was a family oriented Italian man who came from Italy in 1977, with a lot of pride. He was blessed with a heart and hands of gold. He loved enjoying time with his family. He also enjoyed construction and working on projects, especially when they were done his way! We will keep him in our hearts always, and he will be forever missed. All family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, March 9th, at Matthew Funeral Home, 2058 Victory Blvd SI NY 10314 from 2-5 and 7-9. Mass for Gabriele Sorci will be celebrated on Friday, March 10th, at Our Lady of Pity, 1616 Richmond Avenue SI NY 10314.
