Q: What was Lorraine like as a child?
A: Growing up, Lorraine was the little sister I never had. We were born and raised on 60th street in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. Barbara and I would never do anything without out Lorraine, from playing with our dolls, to bike riding, to walking the Avenue to buy candy (Lorraine and I shared a love of white chocolate). We had a wonderful childhood. When Barbara matured and looked for boys, I still played with Lorraine for years, until I realized it was time to put the Ken down and find a real Ken along with Barbara. Lorraine, I will always hold your smile in my heart and cherish our childhood memories. I will always love you my sweet friend. Love, Lillian (Barbara was too cool for the silly Easter bonnets)

Lorraine was a beautiful person inside and out . She adored her family and I recall always had a smile . She loved to bake and be involved in every aspect of her children s life . . She provided strength to all . I had the pleasure of knowing her in the ps 23 community. May she rest in peace. Sending prayers n strength to her family during this difficult time.
