It is with a heavy heart that I am bidding a farewell tribute to my dear sister. She amazed us each day with her bravery and courage not knowing what ALS would bring. Lou Gehrig said he considered himself the luckiest person on the face of this earth, his reason being that he had the best family, friends and most supportive spouse. I know she felt the same way for the same reasons. Although my sister was not a famous athlete, she will always be a hero and inspiration to us all. I will miss you and love you always. Love Love Love ❤️

Jerryl you truly were a special person. You were another sister for my mom, an aunt for me and my brothers, and the godmother to my son. You always were supportive and offered help in all of my endeavors whether it was writing/studying history, or just our shared passion for researching our family tree over a glass of ginger ale. You even kept tabs on my Bengals during football season in between rooting for your Jets. When I look and reflect, you and Joe were always there for me and my family and I am forever grateful for that. I wish I could do more but you would probably tell me to “quit making a big deal out of this.” All I can say is I look forward to passing down your stories and our shared experiences to my son like you did for me.

There are no words to express the heartache of losing our beautiful, generous and most unselfish lifelong friend. She was the glue that held us together all these sixty plus years.
