Obituary of Amelia Garcia

Amelia Garcia of Mariners Harbor passed away peacefully at her home on June 13th 2023 at the youngful age of 91. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, her family was her greatest joy. She loved to dance, sing, and do arts and crafts. Living a life of service, in addition to being a homemaker, she served as a long time Girl Scout leader; volunteered at the Mariners Harbor senior center; ministered with the Sacred Heart of Jesus; delivered Meals on Wheels and was a loving foster parent. Together for 64 years, Amelia is survived by her beloved and devoted husband Benito; daughters Ana and Rosa (predeceased); grandchildren Daniel, Lizette, Tanya (Marlon Sr), and Amy; great-grandchildren, Deana, Marlon Jr and Antonio.
