Obituary of Robert Raisley, Jr.

Robert Raisley Jr., 58 of Parlin, NJ passed away on June 27 th , 2023 after a 3 year illness. Robert was born in Staten Island, NY. He graduated from New Dorp High School in 1983 and went on for a two-year degree from the College of Staten Island in Architecture. He spent 7 years working at the New York Stock Exchange and then went on to the Board of Ed/NYPD-Division of School Safety for 30 years. He enjoyed traveling, vacationing since childhood at both Long Beach Island and Brigantine, NJ. with his family. A tremendous Elvis Presley fan, he loved decorationg for holidays, especially Christmas time and was known for his elaborate displays. He cherished his dogs, Ginger and Sonny. Robert was a devoted son, a loving brother and loyal friend. He always put his family first. He loved nothing more than spending time with his loved ones and creating memories that would last a lifetime. He was a wonderful person who touched the lives of everyone he met. He was kind, caring and had a heart of gold. Robert is survived by his parents Robert Raisley Sr. and Beverly Raisley, his sister, Linda G. Raisley. He was best friend of Daniel Feliciano. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles who adored him. He will be deeply missed by all that new and loved him. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, departing at 10:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ann’s R.C. Church at 11:00 am. Entombment to follow in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens. Family and friends may visit on Saturday and Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00 pm.
