Obituary of Adrian Rose Scallo

Long time Staten Island resident Adrian Scallo passed away on June 28, 2023 following a long illness. She was surrounded by loved ones at the time of her passing. Adrian retired as a mail room supervisor, at Pitney Bowes after also working for U.S. Life Insurance and Home Life Insurance in New York City. Born in Brooklyn, she moved to West Brighton Staten Island in the 1960s and later settled in New Jersey. Ms. Scallo enjoyed long drives, weekend getaways, going to the Casino, playing Bingo and Marjan as well as fishing and spending time with her family. Adrian was predeceased by her first husband, Thomas Scallo, her husband Jerome Geller, and her sister Suzanne McFadden. She is survived by her four children, Thomas, Robert, Michael, and Jeanmarie Bellochi, seven grandchildren, Danielle, Justina, Alec, Samantha, Alyssa, Andrew, Arianna and her siblings Maureen Hines, Sharon Estrada, Betty Ann Maresca, and Donald McFadden. The viewing will be held on Sunday July 2, 2023 at Matthew Funeral Home followed by a 11:00am mass on Monday July 3, 2023 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. The burial will be on Monday at Resurrection Cemetery, Pleasant Plains immediately after the mass.
