Obituary of Louis F. Minunni

Louis F. Minunni, 91 passed away on July 4, 2023 at Clove Lakes Nursing Home. Louis was born in Staten Island and was a longtime resident of Rosebank. He graduated from Ralph R. McKee Vocational and Technical High School in 1950. He served in the United States Air Force as a Specialized Airplane Mechanic during the Korean War. He then went on to work alongside his brother, Vito, for 38 years at their business, Staten Island Auto Seat Cover Co., retiring in 2000. Louis was devoted to his two cats, Cleo and Tamara. He enjoyed going to flea markets, yard sales, and discussing sports and politics with his late son-in-law Frank. He was a loyal and generous friend, neighbor and uncle and to anyone who needed help. He was a loving father to his daughter, Donna Minunni Carcich, predeceased by his son Michael Minunni. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all who knew him. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ASPCA or the animal rescue of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
