Obituary of Robert M. Hallihan, Sr.

Long time Staten Island resident, Robert M. Hallihan, Sr., 73, died at home on Thursday July 6th, 2023, surrounded by his family just as he wished. He is survived by his loving wife, Thelma Cabatbat, his devoted children, Robert M. Hallihan, Jr, Nicole Hallihan, and Vanessa Carlino. Robert enjoyed spending time with his four grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Catherine Jones, Linda Tobin, Michael Smith, and his deceased brother Joseph Smith. Robert Hallihan interests included playing cards with his friends, going fishing, taking trips to Atlantic City with his brother Michael and a constant rerun watching his classic cowboy television shows. He was a custodian at New Brighton Manor for many years, as well as having been a long distance truck driver. Robert was a dedicated and loving family man.
