Obituary of Nicholas J. Quinutolo

Nicholas J Quinutolo, age 87, passed away peacefully while under hospice care on August 23, 2023, at the Palmerton Assisted Living Facility, in Palmerton, PA. He was the beloved husband of the late Marianne Quinutolo (nee Lamberti); loving father of Sandra McCarthy and her husband, Michael, and Nicholas F Quinutolo and his wife Magda; cherished grandfather of Margaret McCarthy, Michael McCarthy, Benjamin Quinutolo, and Samuel Quinutolo; dear brother-in-law of the late Catherine Dallas (nee Lamberti); fond brother-in-law of Wesley dallas. Mr. Quinutolo was born in Manhattan and raised in the West Brighton section of Staten Island. He graduated from McKee Vocational High School. He was employed by the NYC Department of Parks and then later by the NYC Department of Environmental Protection. Nicholas enjoyed growing a yearly vegetable garden and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a lover of all types of food, especially Italian pasta with the crab gravy sauce and meatballs. He was also an animal lover and cherished his beloved dogs. The Holidays were always a special time of the year for him, in which he created fond memories with family and friends. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, August 28, 2023 departing at 10 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart R.C. Church at 10:45 am. Entombment to follow in the Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm.
