Obituary of Anthony Verganelis

Anthony Verganelis, of Staten Island, New York passed away on Saturday, September 9 at Staten Island University Hospital South in Staten Island. Anthony Verganelis was born in New York City on January 14, 1945. He was the son of the late Anthony Verganelis and Regina Millinger Verganelis. He served proudly in the United States Army. Anthony retired from Chase as a Data Processor Manager after 25 years of service. Anthony loved spending time with his granddaughters, going to dinner and the movies with his friends, playing on his phone and watching Texas Walker and NCIS. He had a love-hate relationship with his favorite baseball team, the Yankees. He also loved watching the Jets. Tony is predeceased by his wife of 35 years, Lucille Verganelis. He is survived by his sister, Thalia Verganelis; his devoted daughter, Jill Albano; his son, Andrew Verganelis; and his cherished grandchildren, Leanna Albano, Alicia Albano, Brady Verganelis and Liam Verganelis.
