Obituary of Elizabeth Aguilar

Elizabeth Aguilar passed away on September 28th, 2023. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and aunt. Elizabeth is survived by her husband Manuel Aguilar, son Noe Aguilar, brother Michael Olivo and his wife Jeanne Olivo, her brother Frank Olivo, her sisters Katherine Olivo and Margaret Olivo, and her mother in law Mirta Castallanos. She also leaves behind her 12 nieces and nephews and their families. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her mother Helen Olivo, father Frank Olivo, and her sister Helen Matus. Elizabeth was born on April 23rd, 1968 in Brooklyn, NY. She would eventually move to Staten Island, NY, where she would marry her husband of 38 years. She was a wonderful wife and homemaker. She enjoyed being home to be able to raise her only son and help her loving husband with his growing business. She gave her all to everything she did, and was always there when her family needed her. Elizabeth had a heart of gold and took great pride in her family, especially her son who was her world. She enjoyed caring for others, spending time with family, going on family trips, and making new memories with her loved ones. Elizabeth also had a deep love for animals that grew stronger through her life. Being she loved animals so dearly the family requested that in place of flowers a donation be made to the ASPCA in her name. Elizabeth left a mark on the hearts of those who had the pleasure of meeting her and is loved immensely by her family. She will be missed dearly and will live on in our hearts forever. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home,Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, departing at 9:45 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart R.C. Church at 10:30 am. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
