Obituary of Judith Barone

Judith Barone was called home on November 4, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. Devoted mother of Angela, Lisa and Daniel. Adored Mother-in-law of Mathew, Steven and Maurice. Cherished grandmother and great-grandmother of Joseph, Ali, Vincent, Luca and Sloane. Beloved sister of James and Dearest Aunt of Dawn. Judith was born on July 14, 1941 and resided in Staten Island all her life. She was a graduate of Port Richmond High School and the College of Staten Island. She worked for many years in the bookkeeping and accounting fields. Once retired she spent her time doing the things she loved most swimming, gardening, cooking, tending to her dog. She also loved decorating for the holidays and setting a pretty table. Most important she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends. Judith was a very special person to all who knew and loved her, always kind, caring and loving. She will be remembered fondly. Visitation will be held at Matthew Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 3:00 to 8:00pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Teresa 1634 Victory Boulevard on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 10:45 am.
