Obituary of Paul Scarpelos

Paul Scarpelos, 48, passed away on April 13, 2018 at JFK Medical Center in Edison, NJ. He was the beloved son of Aliki and the late Aristomenes; dear brother Theodora Leondis and her husband, George, and Angela Papaterpou and her husband, Louis; devoted uncle of Stellio Leondis, Nicholas and Arisomenes Papaterpou. Paul is an alumnus of Tottenville High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree from St. John's University. He was employed at Prudential for over 20 years. Paul was an avid music lover, who also played the guitar, and was an enthusiast of DC and Marvel Comics. Funeral from the Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Avenue, on Monday, departing at 9:15 am. Funeral Service will be celebrated at Holy Trinity-St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church at 10 am. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to visit at Casey Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
