Obituary of Anthony M. Labetti

Anthony M. Labetti, 74, of Westerleigh, passed away peacefully on November 27, 2023. He was the beloved wife of Linda Labetti for 52 years; beloved father of Anthony Labetti (Tricia) and Lauren Ducalo (Roman); cherished grandfather of Anthony and Lorenzo Labetti, Roman and Valentina Ducalo. Mr. Labetti was born and raised in Rosebank, Staten Island, NY. He was a graduate of Curtis High School and furthered his education at Baruch University. For many years he worked as a Wall Street Executive and finished his career with Citigroup as a First Vice President Operations Director. Anthony was an excellent cook and baker, who enjoyed entertaining his family and friends, where their door was always open to everyone. His specialties included homemade dough and pizza, Thanksgiving beef soup, and holiday cookies such as ricotta cookies and struffoli. He also enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and the Sands Casino in Bethlehem. He had the patience of a Saint with his grandkids and enjoyed teaching them new things. He was the rock for his wife and was her biggest supporter. He was the love of her life. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Friday, 12/1, departing at 9:00 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pity R.C. Church. Private cremation will follow mass. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, 11/30, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
