Obituary of Alberto Correa

Alberto Correa, age 75, passed away peacefully at Staten Island University Hospital on December 12, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. Alberto was the beloved husband of Salvadora (nee Chavez). He was the treasured father of Rosa Correra-Rodriguez, Cesar Correa, and David Correa. Alberto was the cherished grandfather of Kassandra Vega, Jamila Rodriguez, David G. Correa, Joshua R. Correa, and Yamaira Correa. He was also a great father-in-law to his in-laws. Alberto is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Alberto is survived by his brother, Gumercindo Correa. He was born in Lima, Peru. He worked very hard for his family until his retirement in 2012. He will be missed dearly. Funeral service at the Matthew Funeral Home will be held on Friday December 15th at 10:30AM. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, December 14th from 2-8PM.
