Obituary of Roberto Ramirez

Roberto Ramirez passed away peacefully on January 15, 2024 in the presence of loved ones after a battle with cancer. He is survived by his devoted children, brother, and many grandchildren. Roberto retired as a truck driver from Panza & Sons in 2010. Shortly after he moved back to his country of origin Honduras where he was a friend to all and known to be the life of the party. Roberto was an outdoorsman who enjoyed spending his free time fishing and eating out with his friends. His positive energy and spontaneous jokes were unmatched and he will always be remembered with a smile for that reason. He never let anything get him down, not even a decline in health. He wore his surgical scars like a warrior and joked with those who stood bedside his final days. He will be missed dearly. Family and friends may visit the Matthew Funeral Home, 2508 Victory Blvd, Staten Island on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 2-7 PM. A private cremation will take place the following morning.
