Obituary of Joan Borelli

Joan Borelli, 91 years old of Bulls Head, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas (2004), loving mother of Carolann, Thomas, and Joseph; beloved grandmother to her six grandchildren and beloved great-grandmother to her seven great-grandchildren. Joan was born in Brooklyn and moved to Staten Island in 1993. Joan was a beautiful and super-talented woman. Joan modeled professionally, was a seamstress, a great cook, and an artist. At seventeen years old, she entered a drawing contest and won a scholarship to an art school. Joan loved to garden and loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed. Family and friends may visit the Matthew Funeral Home 2508 Victory Blvd, Staten Island, NY on Sunday, February 11th from 2-5 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 12th at St. Rita’s Church at 10AM. Burial at Calverton National Cemetery to follow.
