Obituary of Vincent Floridia

Vincent "Vincenzo" Floridia, of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of Westerleigh, passed away on February 2, 2024. He was the beloved husband of the late Marie (1978), loving mother of Roseann Guarneri (Michael) and Vincent Floridia, Jr.; cherished grandfather of Deanna Windram (Thomas) and Amanda Guarneri; dear brother of the late Joanne Ingallina. He was also survived by several loving nieces and nephews. Mr. Floridia was born and raised in Brooklyn and relocated to Staten Island in 1981. During World War II, he served in the Naval Reserves. His career was with the United States Post Office, as a Letter Carrier, retiring in 1992. Vincent loved watching "Western" movies, the tv show "Walker, Texas Ranger." Most importantly he doted over his granddaughters and loved spending time with them. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Tuesday, departing at 9:15 am. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church. Interment to follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, Long Island, New York. Family and friends may visit on Monday, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
