Obituary of John B. Cichon

John B. Cichon entered into eternal rest on February 21, 2024. Born in 1957 to John and Helen Cichon. John was the oldest of two boys. He is survived by his brother Fr. Michael Cichon. John was not only a proud American but took great pride in his Canadian and Polish roots. He proudly represented his nationality and took great pleasure in knowing and honoring his heritage. John was a friend to many but his family meant everything to him. John loved being a father to his two children, John Nicholas and Ann Katrina. Johns' greatest pleasure and aspiration was watching his family grow. He was especially proud when his son married Sarah DiBiase as he welcomed another daughter into his family. Ultimately, his greatest purpose and joy in life was when his daughter gave birth to his grandchildren, James Nicholas, Harper Joan and Helen Ann. John was a devoted son, a loyal brother, a dedicated father and most of all a loving and selfless Pops. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. on Tuesday, 2/27/2024, departing at 9:45 AM. Funeral Mass will be held in St. Christopher's Church at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Monday, 2/26/2024 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
