Obituary of George J. Carapella

George J. Carapella, age 60, passed away on April 23rd, 2018. He was and will always be the loving father, best friend, and hero of his two sons James and Michael. George is the adored grandfather and Guardian Angel of James George Carapella. He was the cherished brother of James, Diane, Anne-Marie and Linda. He loved his daughter in law Lauren so very much. George was a very special Uncle to his many nieces and nephews. He was proud to be loved and act as a father figure and big brother to so many close friends of the family. George the "TAX MAN" was born on February 14th, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY. He personified selflessness in everyday life boldly impacting the lives of all he touched. His infectious smile and charismatic ways brought joy to everyone. George was always true, loyal, and reliable to his family and friends. He was simply masterful at turning bad situations into golden ones, including pulling off the impossible. George was loud in making his presence known, and his genuine heart was larger than life itself. George built a very successful tax practice but gives most of the credit to his devoted staff, his sons, clients, and community. His passionate hobby was fast cars and high end autos like his Bentley. George embraced his family more than any human being, and lived life to the fullest every day. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to: Path Family Center for Autism, 7715 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11209 or DYC, 1830 Coney Island Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11230 in memory of George.
