Frank and I went to high school together. I have nothing but great memories about Frank. He was a guy that brought people together and built bridges among different groups. I am sure he continued to do this all his life, it was just his nature. My thoughts are with you and hope your memories of Frank help you through this tough time.

We first met Frank through our nephew David in Staten Island he was a fellow filled with laughter and love for people Frank had a great smile and will remember all the fond memories we share with him RIP our friend in our thoughts and prayers to the family

Frank Bortle was one of the best schoolmates and alumni at STP. Always a gentleman that packed a punch of laughter, empathy, optimism and always a comforting smile. As genuine as they get, Frank was just a wonderful person and friend. God Bless you brother....until we meet again. Strong LOVE and PRAYERS for you and your family Frank... So sorry .....
