So many great memories, Ray will be missed by everyone who knew him. When he and Sheila were married, I was honored to be one of the bridesmaids at their wedding.
My parents knew Ray also. Think my dad and he used to play cards at my parents' house and tease each other a lot.
Not very long ago, Sheila, Ray and I had a lovely dinner at a nice Staten Island restaurant. Ray, also, was great in the kitchen and could make yummy spaghetti sauce.
Glad to have known him and have so many fond memories. Rest in peace, my friend.

To all who knew this fine man, this is a painful loss.
We met as college freshmen living in the same dormitory floor and remained friends for 62 years until his death.
Though too modest to say so, his life was one of impressive accomplishment: football starter at Chaminade High School on Long Island: graduate of the selective Honors Program at Boston College, where he majored in geology and also was a power weight lifter; alumnus of Fordham Law School; successful career in personal injury law; long time Babe Ruth League baseball coach, mentoring scores of young men not only in baseball skills but also, by example, in responsibility as citizens; decades of community service through the Rotary Club; devoted husband to his wonderful wife Sheila, with whom he raised three sons who are exemplary men today; had a broad interest in the theater; impressed with winning sense of humor; and did not hesitate to assist others.
Ray ranks with the finest people anyone could want to know.
