Obituary of Gloria Lynn Pleszewicz

Gloria Pleszewicz, cherished mother, grandmother, and dear friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at the age of 77. She leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, humor, and strength that touched the lives of all who knew her.

Born in Brooklyn, NY on November 7, 1946, Gloria was known for her devotion to her family. She married Thaddeus “Ted” Pleszewicz on October 14, 1967, and together they built a life filled with joy and laughter. As a mother, she devoted herself fully to her children, instilling in them the values of kindness, hard work, perseverance, and generosity. Her gentle guidance and unwavering support shaped the lives of her family. She was the epitome of selflessness, always putting the needs of her children first and nurturing them with boundless affection. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and hospitality, where all were welcomed with open arms.

Gloria had a passion for cooking, decorating, and entertaining, which she pursued with enthusiasm; and she found solace in reading, gardening and spending time with friends.

She will be lovingly remembered by her sons John, Jeffrey and Kristofer; daughter Shannon, daughters in law, Julie and Stefanie, granddaughter Marissa and grandsons John, Matthew, Nicholas and Jackson, along with her extended family and friends. Her memory will be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.
