Things I’ve learned from my mother that I didn’t fully appreciate until I became an adult and a mother. Make sure you iron your clothes “BC people notice”. Make sure you lock your doors “so no one steals you”. The importance of learning to sew “even just little things”. Sheers always dress up a window. It doesn’t matter how expensive your clothes are, the important thing is that they fit well. Snack on nuts instead of junk food. They’re good for you but don’t eat too many, they’ll constipate you. But the BEST advice ever If someone complained about their body my mother would always say “THANK GOD YOU HAVE LEGS” That still makes me laugh! It has become a family favorite. Those are the highlights of Jean’s Sage advice and a part of her that I have given to my children and I hope my children will pass down to theirs. Thanks for everything mom. You are e a legend!

I wanted to share some happy childhood memories. My 1 st birthday was at your house. One Christmas Eve me my mom n dad slept over. I thought all the toys were mine, until my mom showed me mine. I thought Susan n Joeys toys were mine. Our big family holiday celebrations, my Sweet 16 party at your house. Our vacations in Pa you n my mom would tell me, Susan n Joey about your childhood days. So many happy times me, my mom n dad spent at your house. Love you n miss you Your niece Cathy xoxo
