Obituary of Peggy Lee Endress

Peggy Lee Endress, a Staten Island native, was born on March 12, 1955 and passed away peacefully on August 31st, 2024. Peggy is survived by her loving partner Erin Cropley, and her beloved son Mickey, daughter in law Lauren, beloved son Scout and his partner Stelar. A grandmother to fur babies Yoshi and Sparks, she is also survived by her brother, Ronnie Lee, sister-in-law Mary Lee, nieces and nephew (Jamie, Jennifer, Megan, Caitlin, Tracey and Kelly). Peggy was preceded in death by her sister Ginny and brother Jerry.

Guided by passion and intelligence, Peggy graduated summa cum laude from the John Jay College of Criminal Justice. After being accepted and enrolled into law school, she ultimately chose to devote herself to full-time motherhood, where she became a true beacon of unconditional love and acceptance. After a short time with the Legal Aid Society, Peggy worked at the law practice of Angela Domanski, where she demonstrated meticulous attention to detail and great pride in her contributions.

Peggy had a lifelong love for bowling, playing Dr. Mario, playing and watching sports and was an avid Mets fan. She served as front-desk staff and party coordinator at Rab's Country Lanes, ran the SICHS Girls bowling league and coached the Notre Dame HS bowling team, and enjoyed watching her children and family members participate in their baseball, softball, basketball, and bowling games/matches. With a heart full of kindness, she would often share detailed stories and memories and had an extensive collection of family photos and Coca Cola memorabilia. Peggy enjoyed singing and dancing along to her favorite music, watching Jeopardy, doing word searches, drinking coffee, and sitting outside in the yard.

Above all, Peggy was a cheerful and devoted mother and partner who embodied the values of wisdom, resilience, courage, selflessness, and generosity. May we all be inspired by the light of her love and use it to shine it onto others.

Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home Inc., 2508 Victory Blvd. on Friday, 9/6/2024, departing at 9:15 AM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Ann's R.C. Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Thursday, 9/5/2024, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to AVSP, a cause close to Peggy's heart.
