Obituary of Dolores R. Murawski

Dolores Murawski, born July 24, 1934, passed away on September 27th, 2024 at 90 years of age. 

She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Robert in February 2019.  She is survived by her beloved children, Carol Liszewski (Anthony), Robert H. Murawski (Claire), Grandchildren, Laurie Peterson, Daniel Peterson, Robert Murawski (Katherine), Claire Dreisbach (Zach), Megan Murawski, Tiffany Sneider (Ryan) and two Great Grandchildren, Adalynn Dreisbach and Caleb Dreisbach.

A native Staten Islander, she lived her entire life in the Travis area.  After graduating Port Richmond High School, she worked briefly for a shipping company in lower Manhattan as a Teletype Operator.  In her younger years, she also assisted her parents working in their family restaurant.  After the birth of her children, she became a homemaker dedicating her life to caring for her family. 

She was an avid bowler, she enjoyed attending Broadway plays, dining out and spending time with her grandchildren.

The visitation will be at Matthew Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 1st from 2-5pm and 7-9pm.  Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 2nd at 11:00am, with interment to follow at Moravian Cemetery.
