Obituary of Norma I. Soto

In loving memory of Norma Soto who was born in Puerto Rico, on March 16th 1949. On September 26th, 2024, Norma passed away after a two-year battle with cancer at the age of 75. Norma spent her final moments peacefully surrounded by her family who adored her. Norma was radiant and lived to the fullest. She was a very beautiful Women and always took pride in maintaining her appearance. She was the center of her family and doted on her grandchildren everyday. She was very kindhearted and caring. If you needed her she'll be there. She loved the holidays and always made big family feasts; she is known for making the best beans. She loved bringing her family together and We will never forget her and her legacy of holidays and traditions will live on thru her family. She leaves behind her, husband Isidro Soto, Sr. and was the light of his life since the day they meet. They were married in 1968 and were the love of each others lives. He knew she was the one the second he saw her, and they shared 60 beautiful years together. She will be missed by many and is survived by her Mother: Maria Diaz Sister : Irma Pagan Daughter: Yvonne Soto Gonzalez Grandchildren: Adrain Jose Gonzalez Soto, Michael Joseph Gonzalez Soto, Peter John Gonzalez Soto Great-grandchildren: Leah Valentina, Milan Emilio, Aanya Victoria Son: Isidro Soto, Jr. Daughter -in-law: Ashley Marie Force Grandchildren: Kaven Force, Natalie Soto, Genevieve Soto Son: Christopher Pereyra Her daughter Yvonne was very special to her, and she was by her mother's side for over two years taking care of her throughout her battle with cancer. Memories: Her son Isidro Soto Jr Says his Mother "had a heart of gold". Her Daughter-in-law remembers how she loved every holiday and making big family meals. Norma has been a light to all who knew her. She was a nurturing and devoted Wife, Daughter, Mother, Sister, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt and Friend. She was a loving grandmother and helped to raise three of her grand children Kaven, Natalie and Genevieve. For that she can never be repaid, and we will never forget all the times she was there for us to lend a helping hand or offer advice. She is cherished by all who knew her and will never be forgotten. Till we meet again Norma we love you and we'll all be together again one day. May she rest in peace and God rest her soul. The family is asking in Lieu of flowers that donations be made to the family to offset the cost of funeral and burial expenses.
