Obituary of Gaetano P. Savino

 

Gaetano was born in Brooklyn to the late Peter and Giulia Savino.

 

He served in the US Army overseas in Okinawa, Japan from 1958-1962.

 

He is preceded by his beloved wife of 63 years, the late RoseMarie Savino (nee) Minardi. Together they had three children.  Peter Savino, Ricky Savino, and JulieAnn Colella (Chris).

 

Guy was a devoted grandfather to 6 grandchildren and 2 Great grandchildren.

Gaetano Savino, Breanna Sheedy (Wyatt), Peter Savino,  Brittany Colella, Christopher Colella (Carly), and John Savino. Great Grandchildren, Gaetano Savino, Santana Sheedy.

 

Guy was survived by his sister Anna Monaco and was preceded by 4 sisters and one brother, Sadie DeMichelle, Lavina Orsi, Mary Compitello, Rae Savino and Joseph Savino.

 

He had serveral nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

 

Guy was very proud that he served as Vice President of Locall 707 of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters for serveral years.

 

Guy and RoseMarie retired to New Port in Richey Florida, where they enjoyed fun in the sun, endless parties, and enjoyed family and friends.
