Obituary of Helen Volpe

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. Helen was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 9, 1933 to Catherine and Joseph Scafiddi. After graduating from Bay Ridge High School she worked at Bankers Trust before marrying her husband Nicky. They had 4 children then moved to Staten Island in 1964 settling in Emerson Hill. 

Helen was a parishioner of St. Ann's Church where she was a part of the Rosarians, She also did volunteer work for the Developmental Disabilities Council. She travelled the world with her husband, her two sisters, and their husbands. She loved to listen to music, sing, dance, and go to family parties. Her favorite times were those spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. 

Helen is survived by her husband Nicky, children Michele, Robert, Jacqueline, and Janiece, eleven grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
