Christopher Thomas Tantillo Born 2/27/83 Passed away 12/30/24

“Big Chris” was taken away unexpectedly from us earlier this week.

Chris was born in Staten Island to his parents Chuck and Katie Tantillo. He is a brother to Ashley Tantillo.

He attended St Rochs Grammer school and graduated from Port Richmond High School.

As a child he played baseball at West Shore Little League. At Port Richmond High School he played baseball and basketball all four years.

Chris was a proud union carpenter of Local 157. He also was a delegate and sat on the Executive Board holding the position of Warden as well as an Executive Committee Member.

“Coach Chris” as he was known coached his two sons in basketball for Blessed Sacrament Titan League. Most recently coached his son Chris CYO basketball team. He spent his time volunteering and coaching his son’s baseball teams at West Shore Little League.

Chris was an avid sports fan especially of the New York Yankees, and enjoyed attending games with his family and friends. He loved watching his 3 children from the sidelines play Soccer, Lacrosse, Basketball, Softball and Swim.

Chris was always enjoyed a good time and the life of the party. He always had a smile and loved to dance. He was a friend to many and always willing to lend a hand to those that needed it. His witty and fast humor always made people laugh.

He is survived by his wife Kristy Tantillo and his three children, Christopher, James and Lilianna Tantillo
