Obituary of Nicholas S. Siragusa

Siragusa, Nicholas S. - Born June 3, 1960, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was 64 years of age. Fondly known as Nick, he will be remembered for his tremendous love of family as well as his enthusiastic interest in politics and history. His career as an Investment Banker for JP Morgan Chase - NYC, NY kept him close to home and involved in his children's education. Having earned a Master's degree in finance from St. John's University himself, education was something Nick was passionate about. As mentioned by his sons Nicholas and Steven, fishing with their dad will always be a cherished memory. When not watching TV or entertaining friends and family, Nick could be found enjoying a fine cigar while taking long walks with his dog Teddy. In life Nick was predeceased by his father Nicholas, mother Marie (nee: Petroni) and brother Jack. He is survived by his wife Denise (nee: Squatrito), sons Nicholas Siragusa and Dr. Steven Siragusa along with his mother-in-law Rosemarie and brother-in-law Salvatore (Lisa). In addition, he will be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews and extended family. To show your love and support for Nick and his family you are welcome to attend visitation services on Friday January 24, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Matthew Funeral Home, 2508 Victory Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10314. A mass of Christian burial will be held at St. Ann's RCC - Saturday January 25, 2025, at 11:00 am, followed by burial at St. Mary's Cemetery in the South Beach section of Staten Island, NY. In lieu of flowers donations are being requested to be made in Nick's honor to the ASPCA for the help and rescue of local animals. Donations can be made by going to https://www.aspca.org/
