Obituary of Angela J. Connolly

Angela J. Connolly, age 80. “Being with her grandchildren was her greatest joy.” Angela J. Connolly (nee Scamardella), age 80, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of Staten Island. Angela was the daughter of the late Joseph and Fannie Scamardella; loving mother of William J. and James (Stacey); cherished grandmother of Angela, Teresa, William, Vanessa and Jamie; dear sister of Roseanne Pucciarelli (Nicholas) and Joseph Scamardella. Angela’s greatest joy was being with her family, especially her grandchildren. Some of her interests included baking her famous Christmas cookies with her grandchildren, bowling, crossword puzzles, and trips to Atlantic City with her Aunts. On behalf of her sons, William and James, “We would like to express our gratitude to all our mother’s Doctor’s, Nurses and Nurse’s Aides who tended to her care at Eger Nursing Home.” In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Foundation in her name would be greatly appreciated.
