Obituary of Charles Esposito

Charles Esposito, age 88, of Heartland Village, passed away peacefully on June 1, 2018, at Richmond University Medical Center. He was the beloved husband of Rose Marie for 62 years, loving father of Diane Fatale and her husband, Peter, and Ann Marie Crisa; cherished grandfather of Peter Fatale and his wife, Jessica, Jennifer Fatale, Michael Crisa; dear brother of Dorothy Amodeo and her husband, Joseph, and Neil Esposito. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Charles was born in Brooklyn in 1930 and raised in the Red Hook Neighborhood. He was a Korean War Veteran, serving in the Army for two years. He was employed for many years for Atlantic Zinc as a factory worker. Some of his hobbies included being an avid sports fan, especially rooting for the Mets and Jets, fishing, and trips to Lake George and California. Most of all, he was a family man who loved spending time with his family and they loved him very much! Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Tuesday, 6/5, departing at 9 am. Mass of Chrisitian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Pity R.C. Church at 9:30 am. Interment to follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to visit on Monday, 6/4, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
