Obituary of Michael F. Varrone

Michael F. Varrone, age 67, passed away peacefully at home on June 8, 2018. He was the beloved son of the late Frank and late Renee Varrone; loving brother of Jerry Varrone; dear cousin and friend to many. Mr. Varrone was born on Staten Island in 1950 and raised in the New Brighton neighborhood. He was graduated from Curtis High School and then earned a Bachelor's of Arts Degree from The College of Staten Island, majoring in History. He was employed for many years in the insurance industry. He was a collector of numerous things such as coins and stamps; and was very interested in Geneology. Michael also enjoyed spending time in New York City and was an avid reader, especially of things related to History. Also, he enjoyed his gatherings with his cousins. Funeral Service at the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Friday, 6/15 at 11:30 am. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery . Family and friends are asked to visit on Friday, 6/15, from 9 am to 11:30 am.
