Obituary of Richard E. Barnes

Richard E. Barnes, age 81, passed away on June 9, 2018. He was the loving husband of Margaret for over 36 years. He was the loving step-father of Joseph Rucci, Lisa Rucci Capra and her husband Richard and Michael Rucci and his wife Barbara. He was the dear father of Laura. He was the cherished Poppy of Lauren, Barbara Ann, Gianna and Jared. He was the grandfather of Keith and Nicole. He was the fond brother of Walter Barnes Jr. and his wife Rita. He was an uncle to many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family. Funeral Service from the Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Tuesday, 6/19/18, at 8:00 PM. Family and friends may visit on 6/19/18, from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 10:00 PM. A private cremation will follow.
