Obituary of Vincent J. Marcotrigiano

Vincent J. Marcotrigiano, age 91, passed away on June 29, 2018 in the comfort of his own home. He was the beloved husband of Marie Marcotrigiano. He was the loving father of Danielle Anzalone and her husband, Anthony and Donna White and her husband, Brian. He was the cherished grandfather of Alexandra, Nicholas, Hudson, Lucy and Sloane. He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews. Vincent was born at home at 189 Hester Street in Little Italy and raised in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. He attended and graduated from Lafayette High School where he excelled in academics as well as being a terrific hand ball player. He graduated from City College where he was a proud member of Alpha Phi Delta Fraternity. Vincent went on to work as a chemist for over 50 years for City Chemical Corporation. He always said his life truly began at 40 when he met his loving wife, Marie. Together they enjoyed life to the fullest travelling the world, taking trips to Atlantic City, watching baseball and spending quality time with their family. Vincent will be remembered as a joyful, optimistic and loving man who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, departing at 9:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pity R.C. Church at 9:30 AM. An interment will follow in Ocean View Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Sunday at Matthew Funeral Home, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
