Obituary of Louis Oceja

Louis Oceja, age 80, of New Springville, passed away on July 8, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Angie Oceja (2000); loving father of Jennifer Kivlehan and her fiancé, Ricky Bustamante, Louis Oceja, Jr., and his wife Kari; cherished grandfather of Christina, Kimberly and Katherine Kivlehan, Breckin, Dane, Torin and Ariston Oceja; longtime devoted companion of Jean Laino.  Louis was preceded in death by his two sisters.

Mr. Oceja was born in New York City in 1937 and was raised in the Bronx. After High School, he enlisted and served in the US Marine Corps, as a Corporal. He was employed for many years as a Financial Clerk on Wall Street. Some of his hobbies included playing softball, watching soccer and hockey. Louis had a passion for food and enjoyed cooking, but most of all loved spending time with his family.

Funeral Service at the Matthew Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday at 8:00 pm. A private cremation is scheduled for Friday. Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
