Obituary of John S. Jarema

John S. Jarema, age 73, of Meiers Corners, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2018, at The Brielle at Seaview. He was the beloved father of Jacqueline Jarema; loving cousin of Marian Dezelich and her husband, John, and Susan Sunday. John was born in 1945, in Manhattan, and came to Staten Island as a child. He was a graduate of Port Richmond High School and then furthered his education by attending college. For many years, he was employed as a Trader with Bear Stearns. Some of his hobbies included gambling in Atlantic City, travelling all over the world, and watching old movies. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Monday, departing at 9:15 am. Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be celebrated at St. Rita's R.C. Church at 10 am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, NJ. Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
