Obituary of Rosemarie T. Bushey

Rosemarie T. Bushey (nee Orlando), age 80, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2018, at Clove Lakes Nursing Home. She was the beloved wife of the late Edwin (1989); loving mother of Elizabeth M. Pessolano (Michael), Edwin Bushey , Jr. (Nancy), Gary Bushey (Sonja), and Peter L. Bushey (Mary Ann); cherished grandmother of Nicole Bushey, Marissa Pessolano, Edwin Bushey III, Theresa Pessolano, Anastasia Bushey, Kimberley Bushey; dear sister of Antoinette Barbara and Victoria Paro. Mrs. Bushey was born on Staten Island in 1938 and raised in Rosebank, and is a graduate of New Dorp High School. Some of her hobbies included playing cards and bingo, watching "The Lone Ranger," and spending time with her family. Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Thursday, departing at 10 am. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Pity R.C.Church at 10:30 am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm.
