Obituary of Diane F. Navarria

Diane Navarria, age 64, passed away on October 15, 2018. She was the devoted daughter of the late Carl Sr. and Fanny Carlson. She was the beloved wife of John Sr. She was the loving mother of John Jr. and his wife Margaret and Anthony and his wife Nicole. She was the dear grandmother of John III, Ava, Mia, Rocco and Briella. She is also survived by her siblings, Susan Vadala, Carl Carlson Jr. and Donald Carlson.

Diane was a former Unit Clerk who worked at Staten Island University Hospital South. Her most important job was being a mother to her two wonderful children and supporting them in any way she could. She was a wonderful woman who will be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Diane's memory.

Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Friday, departing at 9:15 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church at 10:00 AM. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. Family and friends may visit on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
