Joan was a wonderful woman. She was so full of life. Ian going to miss her spunky sense of humor, most of all I am going to miss our Saturday morning chats and all the advice she offered her posts on Facebook, what I like to call her “Joanisms”. Joan always had your back if you were right but would let you know when you were wrong. She always used to tell me if you have to put someone in their place do with class. Leave them in a state.where they wouldn’t know whether you insulted them or complimented them. Joan did everything with Class! She was truly one of a kind. Joan, you hold a special place in my heart. I am really going to miss you! Rest In Peace. My condolences to her family.

Joan first got in touch with me a few years ago when she began to trace her English side of the family. I was touched that she conversed with me about her life and the information she offered about her family history. Sad news to hear of her passing. My thoughts are with her and her family.
