Obituary of Angela M. Mezzacappa

Angela M. Mezzacappa, age 85, passed away on November 24, 2018. She was the dear daughter of the late Domenico and Giovanna Mezzacappa. She was the beloved wife of the late Ciro (Jerry). She was the loving mother of Anthony Mezzacappa (Bernadette), Joanne DeLucrezia (John), and Patricia Mezzacappa. She was the cherished grandmother of Jena Rosenblum, Lauren, John, and Amanda DeLucrezia. She is the dear great grandmother of Gia Acker.

Angela was born in Monacilioli, in the province of Campobasso, Italy. She married Ciro (Jerry) Mezzacappa in 1954. They settled in West Brighton, moving to Randall Manor in 1964. Angela worked as a seamstress at P & J Frock's where she made wedding dresses.

Angela was a phenomenal cook, she volunteered at Mount Carmel- St. Benedicta annual spaghetti dinner hosted by the St. Benedicta Society of where she was a member. She loved her home and was especially proud of her garden. When she wasn't doting on her family, she enjoyed reading and loved to look over maps, locating places referenced in her books or on the news. She enjoyed trips with her husband to Atlantic City and Virginia Beach and spoke often of her trips to Italy and Argentina.
